Racing in our friend's honor. Our new track toy!
Introducing our new dedicated track car. A 2003 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T. This GTI belonged to a great person and dear friend, Elijah Swabb. Sadly, Elijah, passed away and we are honored to have his beloved GTI. We now embark on a journey to build and race this little VDub in his honor!

The GTI was lightly modified. We however will need to change it around slightly and not make it as slammed as it currently sits. First however a shakedown was in order to see what would break!

Five events into the Autocross season Grant reflects on how the 335/30/18 size tires have affected his highly modified 2008 Mustang GT. We go over the issue of cold weather events and the inability to heat up a larger tire and some other obvious issues associated with having a car that is more than 5" wider than stock.
